About

Package URLs is a small, paid service. It serves Go import redirection for hostnames you own, and nothing else.

It is run by two people, Mara Lindqvist and Teo Varga, from Porto. We have kept our own Go modules on our own domains since 2017, first with a shell script and a rented server, then with this.

We charge from the first day because import paths are infrastructure. The plan pays for the servers, the certificates, and a person answering email.

If packageurls.com ever shuts down, you will get ninety days' notice and your routes as a plain text file. The hostnames were always yours.
